The transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park typically commences early in the morning, involving a drive northward via the Katuna or Cyanika border points, proceeding through Kabale town in Uganda to either Ruhija or the Rushaga southern portion of the park. The guide will take you to the park headquarters in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park so you may receive a pre-trekking briefing. You will subsequently trek into the jungle in pursuit of mountain gorillas, which may require several hours depending on the whereabouts of these endangered gorilla species. Gorilla trekking consistently commences from the location where the endangered gorillas were last observed the preceding day.
Upon encountering the mountain gorillas, interaction will be permitted for a duration of only one hour. One must maintain utmost stillness in the presence of these gorillas.
