Day 1: Kampala to Bwindi Forests
Your guide will meet you at 7:30 AM at your hotel or residence in Entebbe or Kampala. Travel to Mbarara, located 283 km from Kampala, by way of Masaka. Begin your journey with a stop at the Equator crossing for refreshments and photography opportunities. Consider visiting Igongo Cultural Village, as it offers a rewarding and remarkable experience, particularly with a tour of the Ankole Museum. The lunch break is scheduled at Agip Motel Mbarara. Following lunch, proceed to Bwindi by car. This region represents the most vibrant highland rainforest globally, teeming with primates and exotic avian species, characterized by its valleys, hilltops, and papyrus swamps.

Day 2: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Expedition
Start your day with breakfast in preparation for hiking, which starts at 8:00 am after a staff briefing from Uganda Wildlife Authority. Please remember to bring a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, and jungle boots with you. The guides will escort your group into the dense forest to observe the elusive mountain gorillas primate for which you have made a reservation.

Remember to bring your lunch boxes and all essential equipment for tracking the rare Mountain Gorilla, which is undoubtedly one of the most thrilling wildlife experiences available. The tracking process may require a duration of 2 to 6 hours; however, the results justify the investment of time.

Day 4: Bwindi Forests – Depart for Entebbe
Start your day with a cup of coffee. Subsequently, proceed to drive back to Kampala via the Kasese-Fort Portal road, passing through Queen Elizabeth National Park. This route offers an opportunity for game viewing, where you may be fortunate enough to observe elephants, antelopes, and warthogs. A brief visit to the Equator line in Kasese. Experience the picturesque landscapes of the foothills of Mt. Rwenzori as you arrive in Fort Portal for lunch.
