A Detailed 4 Days Bwindi Gorillas & Kibale Chimpanzee Safaris Uganda
 Day 1: Kampala to Kibale
Our safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation. Proceed to Fort Portal located in Western Uganda. The journey lasts approximately 4 hours, leading to one of Uganda’s most picturesque towns. Enjoy a lunch experience in Fort Portal and Proceed to Kibale Forest National Park. Accommodation options include Chimpanzee Guest House for budget travelers, Kibale Primates Lodge for those seeking midrange comfort, and Kyaninga Lodge for a luxurious experience.
Day 2: Tracking Chimpanzees in Kibale Forest
Following breakfast, our guide will transport you to the Kanyanchu Tourist Information Center, the headquarters of Kibale Forest National Park. Receive an overview of chimpanzee tracking within the forest environment. Participate in the morning chimpanzee tracking session in the forest.
By midday, the hike will be completed. Enjoy lunch before proceeding on a drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Upon arrival in Bwindi in the evening, Check in to accommodations available at Rushaga Gorilla Havens or Gift of Nature Lodge (Budget), Rushaga Gorilla Camp or Gorilla Mist Lodge (Midrange), or Chameleon Hill Lodge or Nkuringo Safari Lodge (Luxury).
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Following breakfast, our guide will escort you to the ranger post. Receive an overview of gorilla tracking in Bwindi and understand what is expected during the trek. Embark on a gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The gorilla trek represents a remarkable primate safari experience available in Africa. The duration of the trek is uncertain. Reaching the families may require only a few minutes, or it could entail a full day of hiking into the forest. According to our experience, the majority of gorilla treks are typically completed by 1:00 PM. Following the gorilla trek, proceed back to your lodge.
Day 4: Departure to Kampala or Kigali
Following breakfast, the driver will transport you back to Kampala or provide a drop-off in Kigali through the Cyanika Border. Transportation to the hotel or airport is available.
