Day 1 – 3: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport in Rwanda’s capital, Kigali, a driver will be present to greet you. This will serve as your guide and means of transportation throughout your time in Rwanda. The journey from the airport to your accommodation lasts around three hours, offering a picturesque route through lush green hills, agricultural lands, and quaint rural villages that highlight the country’s natural charm.

Based on your arrival time, your guide may recommend a short city tour, providing an overview of Kigali’s rich culture and history. A visit to the Genocide Memorial offers a deeply impactful experience, shedding light on Rwanda’s history and the country’s extraordinary path toward recovery and resilience.

Your accommodation for the upcoming three nights is a premium lodge situated on the outskirts of Volcanoes National Park. Upon arrival, our team will extend a warm welcome and provide you with a short tour before you settle into your sophisticated suite. The once-farmland property has been meticulously restored to its natural mountain landscape, providing unobstructed views of the Sabyinyo, Gahinga, and Muhabura volcanoes. Day 4: Arrival in Kenya

After spending one last morning in the hills surrounding Volcanoes National Park, travel to Kigali International Airport to say goodbye to your guide and catch your aircraft to Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, a driver will be there to assist you with your road transfer to Hemingways Nairobi Hotel, where you will spend the night prior to commencing your Kenya safari.

During your time in Nairobi, consider arranging a half-day tour to discover the city’s highlights. Notable activities encompass a visit to the Giraffe Centre, purchasing souvenirs at the bead market, or touring the Karen Blixen Museum. Upon returning to the hotel, take the opportunity to relax with outstanding amenities including a gym, spa, swimming pool, and remarkable dining selections.

Days 5 to 7: Lewa Wildlife Conservancy

Enjoy a satisfying breakfast at Hemingways prior to your scheduled transfer to Wilson Airport, where you will board your flight to Lewa Downs Airstrip. A guide will be present at the airstrip to escort you to your accommodation for the next three nights, Sirikoi Lodge.
