A Detailed 5 Days Gorillas & wildlife safari Uganda
Day 1: Â Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (5-7 Hours)
Following breakfast, there will be a pickup from the hotel in Kigali at 10:00 AM. Take a quick tour around the city of Kigali. Explore the Gisozi Genocide Memorial Site to gain insights into the tragic history of the two genocides that occurred in Rwanda.
Following the tour, commence the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is home to nearly half of the world’s remaining population of mountain gorillas. Your journey will take you north through the Virunga Region, which encompasses both Volcanoes National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Enjoy lunch in Musanze Town, situated at the base of the Volcanoes National Park.
Proceed to cross the border at Cyanika and continue your journey to the southern sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Upon crossing the border, proceed from Kisoro to Bwindi, with the journey taking you through the tropical rainforest. Enjoy a tranquil evening at the exquisite lodge. Accommodation options include Chameleon Hill Lodge (Luxury) or Buhoma Lodge and Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge (Ultra Luxury) for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
Breakfast will be served early at the lodge. Following breakfast, the guide will transport you to the trailhead of Nkuringo in Southern Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. We will proceed with some packed lunch. Attend a briefing regarding the essential guidelines and prohibitions for the upcoming gorilla trekking session.

Accompanied by park rangers, you will commence the hike into the forest to initiate the search for the mountain gorillas. Gorilla tracking may require a duration of 2 to 8 hours, contingent upon the movements of the specific gorilla family assigned for observation.

Gorilla tracking requires traversing steep, densely forested hills, ultimately leading to the discovery of gorillas concealed within their natural surroundings. During your encounter with the great apes, you will spend one hour observing and photographing these magnificent creatures.
Following the gorilla trek, enjoy a lunch at the Lodge. Unwind at the lodge throughout the afternoon.

Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Visit Queen Elizabeth National Park, a designated world biosphere reserve featuring a remarkable diversity of flora and fauna. This is Uganda’s second largest national park, featuring a stunning blend of forests, grasslands, and waterscapes. Transportation will be arranged for your pickup from the airstrip to the lodge. Please proceed to check in at the Elephant Plains Lodge. Enjoy lunch at the Lodge.

Following lunch, proceed to an evening game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park.A variety of animals may be observed during a game drive in the park. This encompasses sizable mammals along with large felines such as lions, leopards, and others. The game drive traverses the savanna grasslands. Day 4: Tracking Chimpanzees in Kyambura
Eat breakfast. Proceed to Kyambura Gorge, the exclusive location for observing chimpanzees within Queen Elizabeth National Park. Engage in chimpanzee tracking within the tropical rainforest. Please proceed to have lunch. Conclude the day with a serene sundowner cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a picturesque waterway linking Lake Edward and Lake George. Day 5: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Kasese Airstrip
