Day 1:Â Kigali –Â Akagera National Park
Upon your arrival, our driver guide will meet you at Kigali airport to provide an overview of your 5-day Rwanda Gorilla trekking & Wildlife safari. Following this briefing, you will be transferred to Akagera National Park, located near the eastern border with Tanzania. The typical duration of this transfer is two hours, during which time you will enjoy breathtaking views of Rwanda’s lush countryside.

Upon arrival at the park, you will enjoy lunch before embarking on a game drive in the southern region of the Akagera National park along the Lake Ihema circuit. This circuit features a diverse array of animal species, including Elephants, Zebras, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Hippos, Nile Crocodiles, and numerous other mammals. The presence of water bodies and lowland swamps in the backyard enhances the overall experience of the game drive.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
You will begin your day with an early breakfast, followed by transportation to Kingi station for a briefing on your duties regarding gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park . You will spend an hour with the lively, beautiful gorillas when you get to them They will greet you in a language that only they and the rangers who have spent more time with them can understand. Your guide will occasionally clarify the significance of certain gestures that exhibit varying degrees of human likeness. These primates can be observed engaging in their daily routines, such as nurturing their young, maintaining their fur, and participating in playful interactions with others.
